my most embarrassing moment in my life

By: Pattama
My most embarrassing moment happened around four years ago when I was form six in high school. My school was quite strict especially for the rules. The school’s rules allowed students to go back home once a month with the accompany of their parents. The problem was that my parents were not available to accompany me. And this was the cause of my most embarrassing moment.
On the day that all students went back home, they looked excited and very happy while I just only set and looked at them as they went back one by one. Suddenly, I had an idea I thought that I should go back home somehow; I decided to ask some friends who wished to go back as well. The idea was quite sneaky; to climb the wall. First of all, as the master minder, I divided my friends into two groups, the first one for surveying and the second to find equipments such as chairs, rope etc. After I was sure it was saved; it meant no one knew and saw what we were going to do. I immediately asked my friends to climb the wall one by one. For the person who could not do it, I took the chair to help them; I myself was the last one who climbed the wall.
Everything seemed to be fine, while we were climbing we did not realize that there was someone who kept a close watch on our actions. They planed to catch us by waiting at the exit way of school while we did not know anything about their plans. When , we were out of the school, we had to walk since there was a jungle with the mud. Even we faced a lot of obstacles, we all were having fun because the highest of our purpose was the home. Once we reached the exit, unexpected event happed, there were many people were waiting us with serious faces and also carried beating sticks in their hands. We all were frightened and guilty. Then it was the time for my embarrassing moment.
This scene happened at the same place; the wall behind the school where was staring point of the story. They decided to punish by forced us to climb the wall repeatedly and shouted “We will not do it again”. Moreover, they asked all of students in the school to witness us, some of them pointed at us with laugher and others smiled mockingly. It made me so embarrassed and also felt bad for not being a good example for my juniors.
After the punishment, the teacher said that if we asked the permission directly by telling the truth, they may allowed us to go back home. I kept silent for a few minutes thinking about the words of the teacher. Then, I agreed with him because I think if I asked permission directly this event would not happen. I promised with myself that I would not do like this again.
This is my embarrassing moment that I never forget because it is not only make me so embarrassed but also give me many lessons. It makes me know that should be telling the truth, should be rational before doing something.
